The Imei is like a serial number for that phone- once it is there it
is there- there is no legal way to change it- and any illegal way
would only change the number on the back of the phone not its history.
what you have is what you have. But why would you want to change the
IMEI on the phone itself. It is not uncommon to call a carrier to have
the IMEI updated because you have another phone- but if you give them
the wrong IMEI or a false one which you have managed to somehow
change- it will do you no good, it does sound like this phone has a
history you do not want traced for some reason-either way you cannot
easily, if at all, change the IMEI.
